Start with a price hypothesis
Regional pricing gives different markets different subscription prices. Purchasing-power pricing uses relative affordability as a starting point, while your product positioning, acquisition costs, customer demand, and local alternatives help shape the final strategy. A lower price alone does not guarantee higher conversion or revenue.
Choose your base and country groups
Select a subscription and an anchor amount. Group countries where a shared multiplier makes business sense, then review individual exceptions. RevenueStack calculates base price × group multiplier, applies configured bounds and rounding, and resolves the result against the provider.
For example, a base target of 10 with a 0.70 multiplier produces a target of 7. This is a strategy calculation, not an exchange-rate conversion. Use the actual provider currency and price schedule when reviewing a market.
Protect your important markets
Keep deliberate exclusions separate from group membership. Excluded territories and protected subscriptions are safety settings. When assignments overlap, the latest territory assignment is effective; groups do not use priority rules.
Review the store-valid result
The exact amount you want may not be available on a platform. Compare the target with the closest valid price, its currency, and the current price. RevenueStack highlights discrepancies above 5% as warnings and above 20% as alerts; configured safety rules can block changes.
Deploy a small pilot first
Choose a small set of territories and run a dry run. Review each proposed change and approve only when you understand the provider result. Apple and Google Play writes are supported; preview authorizations expire after ten minutes and should be rerun after configuration changes.
Measure the result and keep a record
Evaluate conversion, retention, and revenue in your own analytics over a suitable period. Keep the pricing change record alongside your hypothesis. If a deployment times out, inspect provider state before retrying; RevenueStack does not offer automatic rollback.
